International voice over casting

Natsuko Yamazaki

I received some exciting news last night. It was a thank you email from a friend I met at the Voice over’s Awards in Los Angeles last year.

It all started in June this year when a director in Tokyo was looking for a voiceover artist who could speak both Chinese and English for a company’s web video, so I introduced her. At first, I was just going to do the introduction, but since they didn’t have any staff who could speak English, I became the contact person between the overseas voice over artist and the Japanese company.

After that, there were various troubles such as e-mail exchanges, our respective work styles, and international money transfers, but we completed it successfully. And yesterday I received a message from her that the payment from the Japanese company had been received. When I first started working overseas, I focused on getting in touch with foreign companies, but it’s the same for foreign voice artists. I was very happy to be able to help her.

It is not easy for overseas voice artists to communicate with Japanese companies, and with globalization, Japanese companies are also looking for people who are fluent in the languages they need. It was a wonderful experience for me to serve as a bridge between the two.

Voice Awards in the Los Angeles , I interacted with voice actors of various languages, including English, Chinese, Spanish, Egyptian, and Korean. If you ever need a foreign language voiceover, I can help. Additionally, if you need a Japanese voiceover, please feel free to contact me. Let’s work together to create something amazing.
