Picture Book Land is an annual picture book reading event held in Toyama Prefecture.
The video storytelling began when the COVID-19 infestation made it impossible to hold the event. Readings by picture book authors and announcers draw the audience into the world of picture books.I also introduce three books on the web. The photo shows Mrs. Mariko Pearl, a well-known picture book author of “Mottainai Grandma”. She came to Toyama to read her book to the audience, and I had the pleasure of greeting her as well.
