Recently, I received these heartwarming words from a radio director I’ve worked with for many years. He told me that when our program first started, he chose me instinctively, feeling that “it had to be her.” He even celebrated my recent Voice Arts Award in Los Angeles as if it were his own, encouraging me to keep expanding beyond Toyama to the global stage.
In my 30-year career, few things have moved me more than having someone believe in my voice and my dedication so deeply. I was so touched that I’ve posted his message in my home studio to inspire me every single day.
