I am honored to be a member of the jury again this year for the SOVAS VOICE ARTS AWARDS, the voice awards known as the Oscars of the voice, which attract narrators from all over the world. I am very honored. These awards are very encouraging for freelance voice artists. It is also a chance to interact with people from so many different countries, such as the U.S., England, France, China, Taiwan, Korea, Brazil, Egypt, and so on. It is also a wonderful opportunity to see the work of people who are active around the world and to improve your own skills. I also participated in this award last year and was able to meet many storytellers. The walls of the world are really high. I was able to discover many things that are different from Japanese storytelling. I think this is a good opportunity to take a new step forward. I will listen to the voices of storytellers with all my heart.
I also want to keep in mind the narrative that only a human being can produce and that resonates with people’s hearts.
